I investigated my options in my gps to get out of Archidona. One was to take the central road in town and the other was to take the ongoing mainroad around the town. Since that mainroad was a bit longer it was a bit (...) less steep, so I took that one. I still had to push it all the way up (and into the sun) and had to rest about 5 times shortly and for some 20mins once at the top.
That was a though job, and it was not even hot yet ... But I lost quite some weight, or was it just water ?
After that I had some nice views at the hill next to Archidona.
And I (not) passed a terrace where I ordered my first drinks of the day. It is completely filled as long as there are chairs available In The Shadow. Which is only until about 11h00.
This very nicely painted building was next to it. It seems to be a kind of storage since there are pipes coming out of it. And it seems to be quite new, but why is it located in town ?
After this coffee-break I fell down with highspeed, although on two wheels.
I lost about half of the vertical meters I gained so hard,
and had to start all climbing half over again.
I was now cycling a nice and rather quiet road
but unfortunately I saw two roadkills, which luckily was quite a while ago.
I cycled into Salinas, asked for a cafe and found this one which is nice. There I had a cerveza con lemon (so a Radler, which is a german word which means cyclist) and asked for a place to camp, just to have a look.
Two men explained me where to find the town's parc and there I found this nice wildcampspot. I decided to stay here for a couple of days and had a good and quiet nightsrest.
I cycled 11kms (...) with 164vms today, and once more and somehow I was a bit tired all day. The heightprofile shows why ...

So what will this very little town bring me ?!
